Students are eligible if they will be entering the 9th-12th grade in Fall 2023. If flying to the camp, students MUST BE AT LEAST 15 YEARS OLD at the time of flying to camp.

Anthony Maginity, P.E.

Anthony currently serves as a lead professional civil engineer at Kimley-Horn. He has 7 years of professional experience serving public and private clients for various project types throughout the Midwest specifically Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. He has diverse experience with K-12, institutional, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. He takes projects from the conceptual phase of due diligence and master planning and carries out the design for permitting and construction. He specializes in producing designs for demolition, erosion control, drainage, grading, and utilities while running a team in plan production and assisting in construction administration including cost estimating and value engineering. Anthony takes pride in being one of the first deaf civil engineers to be licensed in the history of this society. He is passionate about giving back to the deaf and hard-of-hearing community when not at work.
Anthony is a graduate of Iowa State University with a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management. His Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology came from Rochester Institute of Technology. Anthony is currently registered to practice in Indiana and Wisconsin along with his firm collectively registered to practice in all 50 states.

He has worked on a handful of fun and media-rich projects like Windows Holographic, giving facelifts to Windows apps, and participates in uncovering new experiences with design research.
