Transcript: Today is Week 5! What will we do?? Try to go paperless for one day this week. What does it mean? 1) Try using a regular towel in place of paper towels. I will admit – it was a hard one for me back then. I like keeping things clean and I used to feel the need to use a new piece paper towel to keep things clean. Once I have gotten rid of paper towels and started using regular towels, I never looked back! I tend keep separate piles of towels and each pile has its purpose: cleaning (counters, spills, cat hairballs, etc.), napkins for eating, and drying (separate ones for hands/face and for dishes). These towels can be used again and again! 2) Instead of paper bags, bring a reusable bag with you for all shopping. Remember our video from week three! 3) Ask for an email receipt rather than a printed one. 4) Instead of a hard copy, use apps for coupons, tickets and more and scribble down thoughts on your phone, tablets or computers. If you feel it is too much, remember you only need to try for one day. If you want to challenge yourself, try for a week!
