The Seabird That Never Stops Traveling

This animal doesn’t touch land for five years after flying the coop!

Can you guess what animal this is?

It’s the albatross, a family of large seabirds found widely in the Southern Ocean and the North Pacific! These birds can have a wingspan up to 11 feet – wider than a King-sized bed. They can glide over the ocean, hardly flapping their wings, and may even sleep while they glide. They really only return to land to reproduce and nest. Learn more about the albatross with Renca in this Atomic Hands video!
