This animal doesn’t touch land for five years after flying the coop!
Can you guess what animal this is?
It’s the albatross, a family of large seabirds found widely in the Southern Ocean and the North Pacific! These birds can have a wingspan up to 11 feet – wider than a King-sized bed. They can glide over the ocean, hardly flapping their wings, and may even sleep while they glide. They really only return to land to reproduce and nest.
